FAQs About the ELI Report

Common questions regarding the ELI assessment report.

1. How Do I Read an ELI Report?

The ELI report provides a visual representation of a client’s energy levels:

  • Black vs. Red Questions:
    • Black questions describe the energy of a particular level.
    • Red (negatively keyed) questions enhance test validity and represent traits that do not align with that energy level.
  • Key Insight:
    • Focus on the bar lengths. The longer the shaded bar, the more energy the client has in that level.
    • The colors of the questions are simply part of the validation process and do not affect how you interpret the results.

2. What Is Energetic Presentation vs. Engaged Energy?

  • Energetic Presentation (EP):
    • The full energetic profile of how a client’s energy shows up, displayed in the top chart of the ELI report.
  • Engaged Energy:
    • The percentage of anabolic energy (Levels 5 and 6) available for use.
    • Example:
      • 30% in Level 1, 10% in Level 2 (catabolic)
      • 40% in Level 5, 20% in Level 6 (anabolic)
      • Total engaged energy: 60% anabolic energy.
  • Difference: EP shows the complete energetic picture, while engaged energy highlights the usable anabolic energy.

3. How Do You Determine the Primary Energy Level in a Tie?

In the case of a tie:

  • The primary energy level defaults to the lower level (i.e., the level with more catabolic energy).
  • Example:
    • Tie between Levels 3 and 4 → Level 3 is primary, Level 4 is secondary.
  • This rule applies to both the Energetic Profile (top chart) and the Energetic Stress Reaction (bottom chart). For the stress reaction, the term “default” replaces “primary.”

4. Addressing GDPR Concerns
