What if I want a new peer for a coaching partner?
Changing peer coaching partners
Differences of opinion during your peer sessions is a wonderful opportunity to learn about how others think. Maybe you will even learn from their perspective. Also, it may create an environment where gremlins are triggered and called to surface. Great! What a perfect time to recognize them, when you are right in the middle of a coaching session. We will never become effective coaches when there is nothing to tackle in our learning to get there. Working with what we see as a challenging personality is one of the richest opportunities for our coaching education. EVERYTHING happens for a reason, which is why reassigning peers is very rare. If you would like further assistance on navigating and problem solving your current peer assignment, please reach out to Student Support on the HubBot Chat.
