What are the group coaching sessions?

Group coaching session information

After Module I, you will receive a group coaching assignment. Peer groups are used to improve coaching skills, discuss coaching topics and form relationships with your classmates.

Your Peer Group assignment will last for 12 sessions.  The Peer Group Guidelines include suggested topics for each meeting. You can find this on the Hub. Go to the Training tab at the top left of the page, and select Coach Training Program. Scroll down to Coursework > Coaching, and choose Peer Group to find the details and your peer group members. A Peer Group leader, selected by iPEC, can initiate the first group session. However, the group will rotate the weekly facilitator role in the weeks to follow, so everyone has a chance to lead one or two meetings. For students who are attending Module I in July 2021 and beyond, peer groups will meet six times between Module I and II and six times between Module II and III. Students attending Module I before July 2021 will finish up peer group sessions close to their Module II. Please see your CTP program syllabus for more information.
