What is the IDI Assessment?

The Intercultural Development Inventory® Assessment (IDI) pis a cross-culturally valid and reliable instrument that measures the way an individual or group experiences cultural differences and similarities. This instrument creates a “worldview profile” that details your primary mindset or approach toward navigating cultural differences. The assessment is a 50-item questionnaire, available online, that can be completed in 15–20 minutes. 

 This assessment is not an iPEC tool and is used in partnership with this course to raise your awareness of your intercultural competency. To learn more about this assessment, you can watch this video and visit the IDI website.
