Tips for finding your device's specifications
Where To Find Your Device’s Specifications:
Windows Devices:
- Press the windows icon at the bottom left corner of the screen.
- Open the settings menu.
- Open the system menu.
- At the bottom left, press the ‘about’ tab.
- There you will see your processor, your RAM, and your operating system(OS).
Macs:
- At the top left of the screen click on the apple button.
- Next click on the ‘About This Mac’.
- There you will see your processor, your RAM (memory), and your operating system (OS).
- Next press the storage tab to view how much space you have available.
iPads:
- Open the settings app.
- Press on the general tab.
- Press on ‘iPad’ Storage to view how much space you have available.

- You can find your model number in the “general” tab, in “about”.
Tablets:
- Windows Surface tablets and other devices that use Windows, follow the same process as ‘Windows Devices’ above.
- For Google Devices, such as Chromebooks, open up Google Chrome and type in “chrome://system” at the top.
- For Android Tablets, go to ‘Settings’, followed by ‘About Tablet’, to learn more information about your device.
- You can also download the app CPU-Z to get a more detailed description of your Android Device.
